Just wondering

I have recently been thinking about this web site. Since my main goal for this site is simply to have a place to route email, why do I need a web site attached to it? Sure it better locks the URL but really what else does it do?

So while I do find it useful as a place to keep stuff that I can relatively easily access and won’t misplace or lose, as can be seen from the site I don’t have much I really need or feel necessary to post.

So what do you think about personal web sites like this… pointless wastes of electrons or some small degree of useful.
