| 1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup white sugar 1 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/8 tsp vanilla 1 large egg 1 and 1/4 cup milk |
1. Cream butter and sugar together.
2. Add flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder (may add upto an additional 1/2 tsp baking soda for even fluffier pancakes) and mix thoroughly. 3. Move mixture out of center of bowl. 4. Add egg, milk, and vanilla to center of bowl and mix together to blend egg with milk. 5. Quickly incorporate the rest of the dry mixture into the wet. Mixture should be a bit lumpy and reasonably fluid. (A bit more milk may be required.) |
